MOUNT COLOURS
Many colours to choose from
Atelier d’Encadrement allows you to choose from more than 250 colours for your frame mounts.
Mounts (also known as “mats” or “mount cards”) are made of paper litho-laminated onto cardboard. They enlarge and highlight your subjects.
We also make different shapes of mounts as well as customized mounts with geometric shapes; slanted, stacked or juxtaposed mounts; mounts that are adapted to the shape and outline of the subject; decorated bevelled edges, etc. (see here for more information, in French).
The mounts are available in several thicknesses (from 0.15 cm to 1 cm), and double and triple mat boards are also available. They can also be decorated in specific ways, such as painting or cutting (on request).
To protect fragile subjects (watercolours, engravings, etc.) from deterioration, we also have 200 colours of PH neutral litho-laminates on offer.
If you cannot find what you are looking for in the examples below, we have hundreds of other models of mounts available in our workshop. Entrust your subjects to Isabelle and Rebecca for framing. They will suggest different choices of mounts for your frame!
